FFL Transfer Information

Buying a micro draco for sale online is a straightforward process, but federal law requires that the actual transfer of the firearm take place at a licensed gun dealer. We realize the FFL (Federal Firearms License) process can be intimidating for new builders; this guide simplifies every step to ensure your micro draco gun reaches you safely and legally.

Step 1: Locate a Local FFL Dealer

Since we cannot ship a black micro draco directly to your home, you must choose a local gun shop, pawn shop, or independent dealer to handle the background check and physical transfer.

  • Pro Tip: Use an “FFL Finder” website or Google Maps to find a highly-rated dealer in your area.

  • Note: Most dealers charge a small “Transfer Fee” (typically $25–$50). This is paid directly to them, not to the Micro Draco Store .

Step 2: Place Your Order

Purchase your all black micro draco or gold micro draco through our secure checkout.

  • During checkout, you will see a section to enter your dealer’s name and address.

  • If you haven’t chosen a dealer yet, you can complete your purchase first and email us the dealer info later.

Step 3: Have the Dealer Send Their License

For us to ship your micro draco for sale , we must have a copy of your dealer’s license on file at our Glen Allen, VA headquarters.

  • Ask your dealer to email a copy of their FFL to: ffl@microdracostore.com

  • Subject Line: Please ask them to include your Full Name and Order Number .

  • We verify every license through the ATF’s “FFL EZ Check” system before the firearm leaves our facility.

Step 4: Shipping & Tracking

Once we verify the FFL, we ship your micro draco gun via insured ground service. You will receive a tracking number so you can monitor the progress of your shipment from Virginia to your local dealer.

Step 5: The Pickup & Background Check

When your dealer receives the package, they will “log it in.” Once ready, you will visit their shop to:

  1. Inspect your firearm: Ensure your micro draco is exactly as ordered before signing any papers.

  2. Complete Form 4473: This is the standard federal background check.

  3. Take it home: Once the background check clears, you are ready to hit the range!
